Spark of Sparkler

It is illegal to play firecracker in Malaysia, but not the bunga api (sparklers)! Err... Is it? Hmm.. I think so, I' m not so sure either. I love to play sparklers so much! Yup, until now at the age of 24! *shy* Hehe.. It made me feel young though. My favorite would be the sparklers with the metal handles - produce pretty sparks and don't emit as much smoke as those others which are made of paper while burnt.

Blue Mosque

This card was contain of a mosque (the house of pray for Muslims) cut out. During I made this card, my mind flew off to Shah Alam!

There is a famous mosque there which has blue big dome that can be seen from far away! It is known as Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah mosque. When I was little kid, my family used to visit relatives in Shah Alam and whenever my dad drove along the road near the mosque, the one word I can say was WOOOOWW!! I was so impressed - it is HUGE!

It is now one of my favorite mosque beside the National mosque and the old mosque one in Putrajaya.

Hee, enough about the mosque, lets enjoy the card...

We have been meaning to write this post since last week, but there were always circumstances that made us drag this post until today.

Okay, at last, let's talk about the 10986^th contest. We did shout out in the facebook page and twitter that we are looking for the 10986^th visitor. We knew that it was a quick note but, that would be thrill to see the respond right?

The First Place Cards

If you wonder what is a place card is, it's a card set down at a table to inform a guest where they are to sit.

My customer was a wedding planner, so she ordered on behalf her client for their wedding. They wanted 250 place cards - 240 cards with names and table number while the rest, name area were left blank. The discussions on the design only took almost 2 weeks to finalise, and they left me about 5 days to do the cards. Phew~

To tell the truth, I almost gave up for this order. The major caused was the time constrained. I was alone, and not to mention, I had to gamble with the study life, the exhausted of stuck in jam on the way go and back. But, the customer was so nice, and I felt bad for her, so end-up I agreed to proceed. Such a drama. LOL.

Anyway, I didn't satisfied enough with the final product since I made them in rush. Oh, remember too that this is my first time did a place card, so there are rooms for me to improve. I hope to get more order for place card in future... *smile*

Pink Roses

I didn't know what happened.

The real card was in pink and green colour, but when I took the photos, they turned out to be all pink colour on my digital camera screen. They still the same even I added lighting to the surrounding while captured another photos. Since I can't do much in editing these, so I just share the best I have. Sorry yer...

I hope you can still imagine how the real colour of the card would looks like.. The pink is pink, but the darker is actually in green.. olive green to be exact!

This card was ordered by a customer who residing in Riyadh. Yes, we didn't accept any international order. However, she ordered through our cousin who lives there but came back to Malaysia for a holiday. Our cousin was the middle person for this order, and of course, thank you sis!

Take Care Hottie

It's fasting month now and I think everyone must take extra care of the body. Make sure you consume a lot of water at night since the body is dehydrating during the day (if you notice it's so hot during the day) since we are fasting.

Since 71% of our body is contains of water, not enough drinking the water can increase the chances of getting health problems and the besides that, it makes you look dull too! Do you want to look dull during Raya? *grin* I bet it's a big NO especially to girls.. So, don't forget to drink a lot of water...

Sweet Purple Birthday

I have scheduled a new post in three days in a row until today's date... Phew. I'm afraid I didn't have the time later so since I'm free now I create new post as much as I can to be published later. Thank God for this scheduled post function. Tehee.. It saves me a lot since there are still a lot of cards haven't been published yet! Gosh.

Some of my customers might notice this since some of their cards haven't been up yet even they have ordered them long time ago. I'm so sorry dear...

I think I need an assistant in keeping this blog update in real time. Hehe.. Crafting is my passion but not writing. So sometimes, it took me a lot of time just to write a post.
